  • D: no news yet. BUT, i did mysteriously receive a "National Geo...

What’s a blog?

Well, it has been a while, hasn’t it? I’m going to try to remember how to type in this little box. Luckily, I don’t have to remember how to do it with skill because I hadn’t quite mastered that yet. BUT, here we go!

Washington, DC is insanity, obviously. I have today and tomorrow off and now I can happily say I am lucky to have Mondays and Tuesdays as my two days off. Tomorrow is inauguration day and I think I have made the decision to go through the metro/crowded streets beat down and experience it in real life. I was at work during the concerts but if today’s trip back into Arlington from DC is any indication it’s going to be insanity. Estimates of about a couple million more people than I can handle and 6000 people per port-o-potty. Will update further-  but there is an amazing buzz in the air and you can feel the change in everybody.

Everything else in the world of Danielle is going well- the job is moving along somewhat smoothly, the cat’s stupid, family’s fun to talk to, and a much needed vacation trip home is officially planned. Training for the triathlon has mostly come in the form of hardcore night-crew pallet breaking. Trying to make the gym a 4 day a week thing.

Wellllllllll, I think that’s about it. Good to see you again!
